Fund us

AMYBO is a not-for-profit, and the work is funded by grants and by the people who do it. Money goes on kit, consumables and getting students and volunteers into the same room; there is no office and no marketing budget.

Funding lets us build and share open hardware, run experiments and keep everything free for anyone to use. If you or your organisation would like to support AMYBO, sponsor an event, or fund a specific piece of open research (a strain search, an electrode study, a batch of electroPioreactors for a school), please get in touch through our contact form.

Right now the most useful thing anyone could do is sponsor lunch or dinner at our 13 November get-together, so that everyone can eat together.
