We need biotechnologists, chefs, coders, creatives, engineers, enthusiasts, environmentalists, makers, medics, microbiologists, nutritionists and others. Most of what needs doing right now doesn’t need a lab coat.

Ways to help

• Join the conversation on the AMYBO forum. Reading along and asking questions counts.
• Run or replicate an experiment and share what happened, including when it doesn’t work. The home enrichment protocol is written for exactly this.
• Build or improve a part. Most designs are on GitHub as OpenSCAD source. If you have a 3D printer and an opinion, we’d like both.
• Improve this website. Most pages have an “Edit page” link at the bottom. See the contribution guidelines.
• Come along to our next event. The next one is in London on 13 November 2026.
